Is there a way to pull the OPID from the OPRID of a Promotional Tool?

Lance Laughlin

When I look in Google Analytics for the most accessed webpages, I find links like: webpage.com/?oprid=1087 . I assume that these are affiliate links, but how does an oprid relate to an opid? Is there any way to pull the affiliate ID out of the oprid?

You can! The OPRID is actually a combination between a promo tool id and the affiliate id. This way we can track both at once.

You can also pull the affiliate ID (OPID) out of the OPRID. Simply visit the site listed in Google Analytics.. and if its properly linked, you should be able to view the sites cookie values. This should display the affiliates contact ID that you can grab.
