Add Two Factor Authentication to ONTRAPORT

Summit Service Delivery

Two factor auth? Any plans for this? Every system we store customer data we have 2FA on. Ontraport however is the ONLY exception which worries me. Data breaches are becoming more frequent. Google Authenticator is very easy to code against and implement or even SMS.

What are the news about this?

This feature looks like a must-have to me, considering that Ontraport accounts store some sensitive data regarding privacy laws.

YubiKey support + an app like Authy would be great.

Hi! We thought you'd like to know we just released Social Signup and Login with Google or Facebook.

Here's some info on the release:

You no longer need to remember another email and password to access Ontraport. Just use your Google or Facebook account to log in.

New users can get connected at signup. But if you already have an account, set up social logins from your Personal Profile.

Plus, new security actions to control who can access your account are available. Log users out of their sessions and lock them out if you suspect a user seat was compromised. And send a password reset email to make users change their password.

Multi-factor Authentication (MFA) has released! This is the best way to keep attackers from accessing your account, even if they have your password. Here's some info about the feature.

MFA prompts you to verify who you are with a 6-digit code when you log in. You can have this code delivered to you via email or SMS.
You have three options for how often this security measure will occur:
  1. Secure: requires verification when you log in from a new device and a new IP address.
  2. Very secure: requires verification when you log in from a new device or a new IP address
  3. Most secure: requires verification every time you log in.

To find these setting options, hover over the profile icon in the top right corner, click Administration → Security, and select your security level under Multi-Factor Authentication.

Learn more about these settings here.
