Adding Files to a Custom Object

We need to be able to attached files to custom objects.

We want to be able to upload a PDF or attached a URL of a PDF which can easily opened in a new window.

Just need to take the Filebox functionality from the contact and make it available as a custom object.

This is especially important for Deals. e.g. Proposal Information. I can use fields but only if the count is fixed. I can use a related object but then there's a lot of adding/editing/linking.

Ideally it would be more than just adding files to custom objects - it would also be Drive/Box/Dropbox/OneDrive file integration as well, so we don't have to upload/download files or deal with URLs and sharing settings + the clunky 1:many interfaces.

Bumping this back up. Can the Notes & Files section that lives in the Contact record menu also be added at the Deal level? We have the need to upload signed quotes and purchase orders to our deal records in working with our education customers.
