Custom Metric Date Range 'Today' is not really 'Today'

Russell Johansen

When selecting a custom date range, the default end date says 'Today'. The problem is that it is simply a placeholder and not actually auto-selecting the end date as a forever 'Today' setting.

Yes, we should clarify this in our documentation or in app, but this is not something we will be changing. "Today" will always mean the date you set the date range.

If you want the end date to be open-ended then you can use the date logic in most places in app to be "greater than or equal to <date>" or the "week/month/year to date" logic.
