No, we do not have a way to convert text in an email based on Tags. You would need two separate emails in this case.

Ontraport Capabilities
Can Ontraport send a custom footer based on tags? For example, can I send the same email two everyone on my mailing list, but have those who have done my free trial always receive a footer block that pitches a full subscription, while those who haven't tried it yet, will be pitched to do so? But all other content is the same - thus avoiding creating two emails every time?
