Allow segmentation based on a specific API call

This is a request to allow the system to identify field updates from a specific API call. For example, a trigger that can add contacts based on a field being updated from from a specific API. The current work around is to send a contact tag in a following call. But, this only works if it is set up ahead of time. Would be nice to also be able to group based on a field being updated from a specific API call. For instance, make a group based on the BES being updated from [API name].
