What you're describing is not 'a workaround' just like using lumber to build a house is not 'a workaround'. It's using the features of the platform to design and build your vision.
Ontraport is focused on creating a platform that allows you to build things the way you want, and using a button to trigger an email is a perfect example of that. By creating 'features' like you're describing here (instead of tools) you end up stuck in a box that forces you to do things the way we designed it, rather than the way you'd like to design it.
Instead, we'll continue to expand the platform's capabilities to give you a wider range of tools to develop your vision.
