It's totally ridiculous that the outbound text messages to business contacts in ontraport come from "Ontraport SMS Number". Our business's prospects/contacts receive notifications saying - you have just received a message from "Ontraport SMS Number".
We are trying to nurture these contacts into becoming clients through Ontraport campaigns however this is not going to help matters at all. Text and messaging is the new frontier of drip marketing. Please ontraport catch up fast or we will be forced to move to another system that can send people text messages from our business name not yours.
I think you are seeing the "Ontraport SMS number" because that's what you have in your phone as the name of the contact for that number.
I created a contact in your account, opted into SMS by sending my first name, last name, and email address to your SMS number. Then, I sent a SMS to my phone from your account. Only the phone number shows.
