We have many segments created in our contact groups. I've often wanted to select multiple segments for a single broadcast, but end up having to create a new group with the combined conditions OR send multiple broadcasts. Being able to select multiple groups from a pick list when scheduling would be awesome!

I second this.
It's ridiculous this feature hasn't been added. I have to build an automation to send to both groups which adds close to 5 more steps than necessary. I just want the platform to allow me to select both.
