You can do this in the notification section of the event template.
I'm trying to do the simple task of automatically adding a contact to an automation when Ontraport Calendar adds events from a synced Google Calendar. There doesn't seem to be a way to do it right now, so I have to manually add contacts to the automation. This defeats the purpose of automating, imo.
Please add calendar-related triggers to automations. For example, a trigger for "Contact is Added to Calendar Event" or "Template is applied to Calendar Event" would be very useful.

I would like the contact to be added to the automation immediately after the event is synced into Ontraport. Basically I want what happens in my screenshot to happen right away, but it does not because the template is added to an already existing event with contacts already attending it.
I'd suggest contacting support who can explain how to achieve your goal - it's definitely possible!

Currently step 4 seems to be impossible, but I am open to hearing if anyone has any ideas. Support wasn't able to suggest any.

Update on this: is not quite a bug per our definition (because it was spec'd this way) so we are going to have to spin up a little project to get this sorted. Will take a bit longer, but will happen.
Thanks for circling back on this Landon. It would be awesome to have the calendar feel truly integrated with Automations. We've decided to do this with Zapier and Calendly Pro right now, but it'll be a great day when we can do everything in Ontraport!
Well we will be releasing our own self-scheduling tool, like calendly, in late May or June.
