Optional MFA

The sudden 2FA changes have created havoc for me and my team. Some of my licensed team members have ip addresses that are not static. When they try to verify, the email and text messages are not being sent. That caused enormous difficulties for us over the past few days.

2FA should be optional. Imposing this on users is paternalistic, and if you insist on doing it, your backend systems must work properly to generate the email or text.
