Show an "access denied" error vs. crippling a site hosted by Ontraport when accessed by a VPN

When you try to access Ontraport from a VPN that uses a bad IP, you get a "Access Denied" Error 1020 message: 

However, when you access a site or page hosted by Ontraport that gets accessed by a bad IP on a VPN, the page is just crippled with no error message. See screen shot below:

This is bad since customers assume it's just something wrong with our site (and they're not prompted to disconnect from their VPN, etc). I get a support ticket at least once a week for this.
