Membership sites

Hello. I had a bad experience during Memorial Day weekend 2023 attempting to setup a membership site through the "Membership Starter Kit" and "Subscription Management on Autopilot" wizards.

Here are my suggestions:

1 The Ontraport University video course on membership sites is short and dated. I would re-produce this and include more detail about the logistics of setting up a membership site.

2. The Membership Starter Kit sets up a "drip" series of pages with lessons one through three. I would simplify this for a two or three page basic site where all paid users have access to all three pages. Then, if an Ontraport customer wants to set up a "drip" series of lessons, he or she could do so after setting up the basic site.

3. The Subscription Management on Autopilot is badly flawed. The instructions state that it is an addition to the Membership Starter Kit. But, even if your membership site is hosted on your custom domain, Subscription Management on Autopilot produces a series of membership pages with an ontralink domain. Some features of the basic site are duplicated, and some aren't even included in the "Autopilot" setup. "Confusion" and "chaos" are the results.

4. Be sure all support staff are trained to answer questions about membership sites. Your team is awesome, and I always send rave reviews. But it is frustrating for both them and us when they cannot answer questions accurately and adequately.
