An HTML block in OntraMail is planned with the next update of the editor. I don't have an ETA on it yet, though.
The ability to insert the code in the source of the email with a block in the amazing customizable Ontramail.

Yes Please!
I'd like to be able to take a list of links and paste them into a block without them coming apart and having to be redone...
Yes! I would LOVE to have this feature included as I would like to be able to integrate a countdown timer directly within my emails. I've seen several online experts achieve this, and so far I have not been able to do this within Ontraport. Having this code available in Ontramail would definitely help to drive sales by bringing in scarcity. Thank you! Please notify me when it becomes available!
This is frankly a huge shortcoming. Currently, in order to add Deadline Funnel countdown timers (or any other 3rd party tools) to Ontraport emails, I have to create the email in Ontramail, preview, view source, copy source, and paste it into an HTML email. And even then, it often behaves poorly. We should be able to inject markup into Ontramail.
It seems like a really important feature to be able to put an HTML block in an email. Otherwise, I have to recreate the whole message in the HTML editor just to add one HTML element, which is really frustrating.
So, 20 upvotes..
Will this ever get done?
Hi Incredible Pizza! We're excited to announce that we just released the new Advanced Mail editor that uses the same drag-and-drop builder as pages. One of the elements you can add to these emails is a Custom HTML element. You can also edit the header, body and footer code of the messages. Learn more here.
