For the same reason mentioned in your other feature request, this is not a great idea. Much better to use the notifications system in Event Templates for managing this!
That said, you can trigger an automation for a contact if you like... again, using notifications in Event templates.

FollowBooking Event Cancelation Record Update
It would be great if a field in the contact record could be updated when someone cancels a booking through Ontraport Calendar so that automation could read that and follow up to reschedule via automation. Currently, we use Zapier and custom fields to have this data from Acuity and follow up with automation.

Thanks for this. Is it possible to have the event notifications follow up with a series of messages upon a cancelation, and know to stop if/when they reschedule?
