Automation's ability to add Notes

Thanks Landon. I'm still waiting for approval to join, but I don't currently understand how a webhook would be able to do this or why this is the go to answer. Could you send this up to the dev team anyways? Seems counterproductive to add a side step to an automation only for it to loop back into the same platform.

Uh, no.. the thing about OP is that because you can do just about anything with it, and people come up with all sorts of random ideas (that are important to their own business!) We have built a platform that allows just about anything to be accomplished, including your use case, but if we tried to make every single idea into 'a feature' we would never get there, and the app would spiral out of control. 

This idea of yours is a perfect example. Only very rarely (or never?) have we heard of someone wanting to do what you're asking... so it would make zero sense for us to invest all the time and money into building that as a bespoke feature, when... it's already super easy to accomplish using the features we've already built into the platform.

Using your own API is common around here, and not counterproductive or a side-step.. it's just how you accomplish certain less-common use cases.

Fortunately, it's simple to do! There are videos on how to use Webhooks and the API on youtube and elsewhere. Or, this would be a very small project for any of our certified experts if you don't want to figure it out yourself.

Hopefully I'll be able to find the webhook information easily and sift through setting it up on the platform.
