Adding Membership Access To Dynamic Objects

We would love if some of the functionality such as allowing membership access could be given to our dynamic objects. We currently use 'contacts' as the businesses that sign up with us and those businesses have 'customers' which is a dynamic object but if the customers want to login they cannot because they are not considered a 'contact'.
