Auto - Alphabetize List Items

When creating entries for fields (e.g. tags, dropdowns, list selection), it would be helpful to have an optional feature to automatically alphabetize the list items. The manual drag-and-drop is clunky and, on save, doesn't always leave list items where the user puts them.
