Update: Issue with Contact Search API – Inconsistent Results with + Sign in Phone Numbers

We’ve encountered an issue with the contact search API while searching for contacts by phone number. Specifically, when we include the + symbol at the beginning of the phone number (e.g., +917705989331 ), the API returns blank details, even though this format matches what is saved in our CRM. However, when we search for the same phone number without the + (e.g.,  917705989331), the API returns the correct contact details  

Could you please help us understand if there’s a particular format required for phone numbers in search queries, or if there’s a workaround to include the + sign in a way that’s compatible with the API?
