WebHook Log Retention

John Bingham

The retention period for webhook logs is too short.  We are infrequent users of webhooks, so sometimes our discovery of an issue could be weeks after the problem occured.  I understand that there are limits in place to control storage costs, but that's what the volume control of 10k logs entries is for.  Perhaps there's a sliding scale of volume v. time.  I'd like to see at least six months of retention, but that number is a bit arbitrary.

Another option could be to have a condition in the automation to handle a failed webhook call, so I could atleast trigger an alert to an admin to triage the situation.  In our case, the webhook failed silently and we missed a billing opportunity with a client.
