Exporting only certain contacts from multiple pages in a group

This can't be done without creating additional tags or fields, and we often need to export a list of certain people from groups.  Many times, there wouldn't be a tag that we could mark them with.  We should be able to export checked people from multiple pages without losing the people we checked on the previous page.

This is an issue we have a lot.
