Allow columns view on home screen to show "last email received" and "last email sent"

Last week I chatted with tech support... and we realized it's not possible to set up the columns on the main dashboard/screen to show "last email received" and "last email sent".

Generally, we would like to be able to track on one view all of the latest communication with our contacts without having to click into their contact details.
