I would like to be able to "save" customized email block templates for use in future emails. For example I have a footer block that I have customized for our business with our logo and opt out message and social media icons connected but in order to re-use it I have to copy that whole template. I want to be able to save my customized blocks to pull into future emails that way I can take customized blocks from multiple of my different emails I have sent previously and combine them into one email. Right now I have to copy the one with the most work and then rebuild the other pieces to get what I want. Note that I have a couple of brands and we do a newsletter for each that sometimes shares content and so I have to choose between copying the content and recreating the header and footer each time or copying the header and footer and recreating the content.
This is planned for the future. We are updating the ONTRA-editor code to include a section for "Favorites" that can be individual blocks. So, you could configure a header and footer block, save them as "Favorites" and have them available from the "Add Block" function.
This will come first to the ONTRApages editor soon, and then be adopted into the ONTRAforms and ONTRAmail editors as well.
