Hello, I have found that in many of the duplicate contact records I see when I got to merge, record A and record B are on different campaigns. When merging the records, I can only merge campaigns from one of those records (rather than from both), meaning that the contact will be removed from the campaigns that I am not able to add.
The solutions that I have seen have been to either (1) add any additional campaigns during the merging process or (2) go into each contact record to be merged and manually add the campaigns into the record that I intend to preserve. Either of these solutions means that my contact will be added back through the manual trigger, rather than staying wherever they are on the campaign already.
It would be incredibly useful to be able to merge campaigns (and tags as well) from both contacts rather than just one.

Yes I agree. This is absolutely needed.
Its not a great user experience for a contact to have to start again at the beginning of a campaign.
