Merging Contacts on Different Campaigns

I am merging duplicate contacts and keep having the same issue appear where 1 of them will be on a campaign that the other is not, and if I were to simply click the add button, they would be reentered into these campaigns at the trigger. Is there a way to copy all campaigns into 1 contact's record without having to change where they are in the campaign?

The newly merged Contact should inherit the exact same presence on the Campaign as the old Contact did, so you if you are experiencing the merged Contact starting at the Trigger please let support know! If you have already and have a ticket number we'll make sure it gets escalated to the right folks.
