Selecting multiple contacts throughout different pages to do group action

For smaller business owners, it would be convenient to be able to select multiple contacts throughout different pages and be able to segment them and use group actions that way.  Right now, if you select a few contacts out of 50 on one page and then go to the next page, the counter resets because you can only select specific contacts from one page or all at a time.
