Corporate Branding

Miriam Pires

It would be preferable to have a pre-selected colour pallet so that when creating a new template in Pages / Messages etc my own business colours would appear instead of the consistently preset Ontraport colours.

It would mean I wouldn't have to reset them every single time.

That would be a great time saver and make me feel much better overall.

This is planned (first for Pages and then later ONTRAmail). We have two upcoming features that will first help in achieving this and then, a bit later, give you a custom color palette as you're asking.

The first step are global blocks. You can take a block you have configured with your brand colors and mark it a "global block". A configuration item will allow this block to keep it's custom color scheme when imported into any new page. Changes you make to a global block will cascade to all Pages that contain the block. An example is a changed phone number; change it in the global block editor and it changes across all Pages containing the global block. This feature is in development now.

Global color palettes will come a bit later, but is on the roadmap for development soon. You'll be able to specify your choice of the five colors in the palette, save it as a global palette, and apply it to any page (new or existing).

Great, any idea of the timeline for this development?

I don't have an ETA on release of the global blocks for Pages, but that component will come first.
