Ability to use more variables in workflow Triggers, Conditions, & Actions

It would be great to have more access to variables in Global Rules and Campaigns such that you could set the value of a field in object "A" to the value of a field in object "B" (using variable logic).

This would be useful to use a workflow to create a new Deal or Contact record and then pre-populate a field in that new record with data from an existing field. 

For example - you could set an automated workflow to relate a Deal record with an existing Contact using the logic: Find a Contact with email = A, then set field "RELATED CONTACT" in a Deal to the contact with email "A"

You could also use these types of workflows to create a follow up task by having a date field "NEXT DATE" and then a workflow triggered on field update that creates a new task when "NEXT DATE" is updated and sets the due date of that task to the value of "NEXT DATE" as a variable.
