I've been using Ontraport for a lot of different things, but I think the forms could use some simple enhancements that could go a long way!
For example, Typeform has multiple ways to input information that are more visually appealing:
- Sliding scales
- Inputting data
- Multiple selection
- Ratings (With cool icons - Ex. Selecting 1-5 star, etc)
- image selection and more!
The current options are very "function over form."
Additionally, there is an option have the individual see one question at a time, or progress bars to let them know what percentage or number of questions that are left.
I think it could be an easy way to make these more useful and keep people on Ontraport! :)
I am trying to make Ontraport my-go instead of using multiple platforms or API connections. This would help so much!

We do have enhancements coming for OntraForms in the near future. I don't have an exact ETA just yet, but the enhancements are definitely on the roadmap. We will take another look at your suggestions before we kick off the project in earnest.
+1 to this. Hanging out for the new form builder so badly...
I agree that the scaling and spacing options currently are frustrating. I find them ugly and very limited in customisation. I feel that Ontraport falls down heavily with its forms compared to competitors. The same goes for its email builder.
I think it would also be good to be able to run custom JS in addition to custom HTML on an ontraport form, which, in combination with Merge Fields (or something similar to indicate where the data from the input belongs) could allow for the creation of entirely custom form elements.
Was the "Rating" field ever developed?
