At present, a task, but not an email, can be sent to any email address. It would be useful to be able to send to ANY email address for the purpose of notifications and integrations (e.g. with project management software) - many times email integration is more powerful than e.g. zapier or webhooks, especially for project management software.
Also notifications all come from accountnumber@ontraport.com with the same subject line (New Lead Notification) and can't be customised, so it's annoying to filter those.
You can use a "Notify someone with an email" element in Campaigns and provide any email address you like. The notification email can use merge fields to pass along the contact's information.
