Option to turn off visual effects in page builder / email builder / site backend

All the things that make it look 'pretty' also make it difficult to do lots of repetitive task quickly & efficiently, as you're always waiting for things to slide to the right place. The admin area is pretty slow to load new pages etc anyway, so all this extra flair massively detracts from the usability & likely adds to these load times.

I understand why it's there & why people may like it, but it would be good to have the option to turn it off for productivity's sake.

Same goes for dialogue pop-ups in the builders; having a 'don't show this again' check box for things that repeatedly pop-up, but are informative rather than functional, would be excellent.
