"Sales Today" Metric that subtracts Renewals:

Hello! I would like to request a "sales today" filter request in which I can turn on / off the below. I see the value in looking at it both ways and would love to have metrics that do both. Below is an excerpt from a support ticket that explains it. The issue that triggered this conversation was I couldn't figure out why my exported sales log had around $9K in "sales last month today" but my "sales last month today" dashboard metric was $11K. 

"Dashboard looks at when the money was actually collected/paid, whereas the Sales reports looks at date of the order (invoice date). For example, if a contact had an invoice for 8/30, but declined and the charge didn't go through until 9/1, the dashboard will reflect the money generated in September, whereas the sales report will reflect the money based on the invoice date in August." 

So I would love to have a "sales today" dashboard metric that reflects the actual sales with invoice dates of that day and not taking into account other collections. Then I could easily compare the two sales numbers and quickly account for collections as well.
