FollowFeature Request: Tag Groups
Hey! It looks like there was a feature request for this back in 2022. I'll add my voice to that!
Just wanted to chime in with a feature request that I think, at the very least for our business, would be very helpful.
Due to the way that Ontraport was set up a while ago before my time, sometimes our tags are very chaotic, there are truly many of them, and often they all fall within similar categories.
It would be an immense help and make the use of groups a lot more powerful for me if it were possible to create Tag Groups, so if I need to create a new contact group and add very specific custom filters, I won't need to add 20-40 tags each time, or tweak small things.
This would be huge for me when it comes to segmenting our audience for mailing campaigns.
Just to give you an example, just 1 actual product has perhaps 10 different versions in the CRM.
Due to the need to create different versions for payment plans, special promotions, custom pricing, etc. Those all carry different tags.
It would be much much easier for me to update a tag group (or product group, for that matter) whenever a new "version" is added, than having to sift through all the mess of tags that were created in the past.
Right now the best solution for this kind of segmenting is, ironically, creating MORE TAGS. Isolating each group in turn, give them all a new tag, and then going to groups to target that tag..
