We do not plan to add a merge field for passwords for Ontraport Membership sites. Sending passwords via email is no longer considered a best practice for security reasons.
Similar to the merge field for a Wordpress/Pilotpress site a password merge field. This would help our customers by including their username and password in emails. And help our customer support to login as the user without requiring the password to be reset by our customer support and then reset again by the user.

That makes sense with email and I'm fully in favor of better security!
The main purpose of the merge field for our purposes is to create a task with the password in the merge field so our support can look at the task and get the user's login/password to troubleshoot their account without requiring the user to reset their password.
Maybe there is another way this could be implemented for our support team?
We do have a plan to implement a "view as user" feature for membership sites that might work!
Our planned "view as a member" feature will allow you to specify a contact and then log in and see the site as that member (or contact) would see it. This will allow you to preview the site from within the Ontraport Pages editor (including all the active links to other pages, etc.)
