It would be very useful for there to be a setting to turn on an auto-generated tax amount based on the location of the contact making the purchase so that it's not necessary to manually add every different tax rate I may run into.

Many states in the US are passing legislation that now require online businesses to collect and remit sales tax. Resulting in 14,000 different taxing scenarios.
Quickbooks now has two options 1) collect sales tax based on business location (for brick and mortar businesses) and collect based on buyers location (which tells the business owner who to send the sales tax to and how much)
QuickBooks now offers this service for free to it's clients but the problem is it's too late. Once Quickbooks tells me how much to send and to who, I've already charged the customer the incorrect amount.
