Displaying numeric fields

We are trying to create a report using numeric values, the only problem is that numerical fields do not display with comma separators and they look terrible. For example 1000000 rather than 1,000,000 (which is much easier on the eye). We tried using price, but then we can't remove the decimal places to display a whole number and end up with $1,000,000.00.

We really want the ability to be able to display in this format:

1,000,000
