Simple interface to Merge two specific contacts

I often know of two specific contacts I would like to merge. When this is the case, the Merge Contacts wizard is needlessly bulky. I'd like a simple option to merge one specific contact into the another.

For example I can imagine a button or setting when viewing a contact record to "merge this contact with another record". I would want to search for another contact record (by name, email, etc.) and then choose the one I want to merge. This could open up the merge wizard for those two specific contacts.
