FollowUpdate Ontrapages WordPress Plugin to Inherit Divi Theme Nav + Footer Automatically
When publishing Ontraport Pages into WordPress using the Ontrapages plugin, the embedded Ontraport page does not automatically inherit Divi’s theme elements (specifically Divi’s navigation and footer). This creates a disconnected user experience where Ontraport pages appear without the same header/footer used across the main site.
Current behavior
-
Ontraport page content displays in WordPress via Ontrapages plugin.
-
Divi-specific nav and footer do not render automatically on those published pages.
-
Result: pages look “off-brand,” lack consistent site navigation, and users lose expected paths (menus, footer links, legal links, etc.).
Expected behaviour (requested functionality)
Update the Ontrapages plugin so that Ontraport pages published to WordPress can inherit and render the active WordPress theme’s global elements, including:
-
Divi Theme Builder header (nav)
-
Divi Theme Builder footer - footer elements often include required legal links (privacy policy, terms), accessibility links, and contact info.
SUGGESTION:
- Render Ontraport page content inside the WordPress theme template (so WP theme header/footer load normally), rather than isolating the content in a way that bypasses theme output.
- Mobile menu behavior matches the Divi site experience.
