Redirect back to same page after login

We're building an Ontraport membership site, and would like to be able to redirect to the member site page requested after login. however it seems that the membership site can only redirect based on static rules or to a single page, not the page requested, and this was confirmed to me by a member of Ontrport support. This is a pretty critical feature for a site that is pushing content to users via other methods and is not only relying on discovery in the site itself:
