Image overlay options

There are options for image overlays via the "edit" button per image, but they are preset and i don't see an option to upload your own. 

It would be great if either or both of these could happen: 
1/ add an overlay for adding a video button to the middle of the image to indicate that it links to a video - something that has data supporting that these get more clicks
2/ to be able to upload your own overlays with your branding
