Feature Request - Next Charge date on open order

Could the next charge date on an open order be used as a field that can be used in automations or as a merge field in emails. Right now, in order to send renewal reminders, an automation has to be set up to update a custom date field within a contact to use as a reference for renewal reminders. It is an additional step that is prone to errors if a customer support members has to manually update an account for any reason ie, tech issues on user end, cancellation before user updated card and accout is being manually restored.
If the next charge date on an open order is made available as a field/data to be used as a reference in an automation it would be soooooooo helpful and reduce potential for errors.
