Hi Ontraport team! I've been loving the internal functionality of Ontraport. Especially being able to digitally spy on customer behavior and trigger actions based on that behavior.

The automations are some of the best I've seen in a CRM and it's one of the reasons why I signed up.

Then there's Ontramail...

Let me start by saying I love the ability to copy over the emails into different segments and take a broadcast and add it to an automation etc.

BUT, the builder is too complicated and I'm really good with tech.

Features that an app that's this expensive should have:

  • Simple blocks (image, text, button)
  • Easier way to swap an image, it takes like 3 clicks to fix
  • Faster formatting and templates changes (right now it's a bit complicated and cumbersome to update preferences)
  • Additional fonts (if convertkit and flodesk can do it...)

I'm more than happy to talk to anyone internally. Our team sends out HIGH VOLUME emails for our clients and honestly until this is fixed I cannot recommend the app outside of our team for internal purposes. But... hoping that's in the works!

Yes, we know!

Our plan is to completely remodel that V2 tool to work like our V3 ontraport pages platform.

Most users prefer to send typical text messages, because they tend to perform better, so we have not prioritized that project in favor of extending the functionality of pages and building Dynamic content and much, much more. But we are certainly aware that that particular editor is lagging, and we will get there, I promise!
