Default User Settings: Add the ability to edit default columns for new users

I would like to request the ability to edit the default columns that appear in both the contacts object and custom objects. Currently, we have to set the columns for each user seat manually. However, when adding many users to an account, this task can take some time. So, it would be great to add the ability to customize these default settings so we can add our users and have the columns populate as we set them.

Currently, new users get the columns that appear in the admin user's 'ALL' groups for each collection. In addition, all users will see the columns you've set up for any shared groups.

Unless I'm misunderstanding, the current functionality should handle your situation.

Note that this is not retroactive. Once a user signs up, or has access to a group, then the settings are theirs to change. Changes to your account will no longer be reflected in theirs. Settings are transferred when a new user is created and when groups are initially shared.
