I have a need to add a contacts name and a short message when a downloadable product (file/pdf) is purchased. Pickup the field name from an order form and insert into the purchased download pdf when it is sent
EG. For the exclusive use of <first name> <surname>
Perhaps as a footer of the pdf

Thanks for your feature request! We don't currently have this kind of functionality on our roadmap, but we'll keep this feature request open to see if it generates more votes.
In the meantime, you can use FormStack to create personalize documents within Ontraport that are sent to your customer. You can see an example of creating a document at the Formstack Ontraport article.

Another option coming soon is to use a dynamic content landing page that would show them the information with populated merge codes that are available now for Pages. With Dynamic Content you'll be able to target the page to them and them alone, and not show the data to any one else. See our article on Dynamic Pages for an overview. We expect this feature to be released before mid-year.
