    Integrating with QBMS (QuickBooks Merchant Services)

    About QuickBooks Merchant Services (QBMS)

    QBMS is part of Intuit’s partner platform, and can be used to connect the QuickBooks “Web Store eCommerce” gateway to your ONTRAPORT account.

     

    NOTE: Intuit frequently updates its services with new names, features, and requirements making this one of the most challenging payment gateways to set up. This article links to the Intuit website for instructions due to the ever-changing Intuit interface.

     

    Prerequisites

    Obtain your QBMS Account Details

    ONTRAPORT requires an AppID, AppLogin and Connection Ticket to connect with your QBMS gateway. You can create these following the instructions at this link:  http://support.quickbooks.intuit.com/support/articles/HOW18927

     

    The instructions list four general steps, Confirm that you have a valid merchant account, Create an Intuit Partner Platform account, Register an App andCreate the connection ticket. Follow the instructions step by step to obtain the AppID and AppLogin information, and after the final step, you will be sent the connection ticket number via email.

    Configure the QBMS Gateway in ONTRAPORT

    In ONTRAPORT, click on Sales > Settings and choose Gateways. Click the New Gateway button:

     

    From the drop down selection box, choose “QuickBooks (QBMS)”:



    Fill in the QuickBooks Connection Ticket, AppLogin and AppID details and click Save
